• Registration for our Fall Games, held in September and October, opens each spring on or about April 1. 
• Save $5 by signing up during our "Early Bird" period: April 1 - July 31.
• Registration ends for each sport about 2 weeks before the event date. No late or day-of sign-ups allowed.
• Refunds must be requested in writing or by email. Refunds before August 31 will be assessed $25 administrative fee. No refunds after August 31.

Silver State Games is Nevada's official state qualifier for the National Senior Games for active adults ages 50 and better. 

In 2026 and all even years, "active agers" compete in the Silver State Games in an effort to qualify in their event for the National Senior Games to be held the following odd year:

• 2027 Tulsa, Oklahoma
• 2029 Birmingham, Alabama

Whether you want to qualify for the 2027 National Senior Games or to challenge yourself while having fun with friends, you'll want to join us this year in the greater Las Vegas area!

On January 5, the National Senior Games Association announced its sports offerings for  2027 National Senior Games in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sports shown in bold are slated to be on our schedule this year.
