Growing up in Colorado, Liz competed in track where her prep hurdle record stood for almost 40 years. After earning a B.S. and MBA on an athletic scholarship, she went on to have a successful career in accounting and project management in utilities, construction, and healthcare.

Growing up in Colorado, Liz competed in track where her prep hurdle record stood for almost 40 years. After earning a B.S. and MBA on an athletic scholarship, she went on to have a successful career in accounting and project management in utilities, construction, and healthcare.
As a masters athlete Liz has medaled in national and world competitions and set set several American age-group records.
Liz served as the Games' executive director from 2019 to 2023. She currently serves the National Senior Games Association as Vice-Chair for the Pacific Region.

John’s experience encompasses both professional and athletic fields.
He worked for 40-plus years as a technology executive for a Silicon Valley-based healthcare technology company. John also had a 25-year career as a certified Olympic official for bobsled/skeleton and is the Chairman Emeritus of USA Bobsled/Skeleton, the national governin
John’s experience encompasses both professional and athletic fields.
He worked for 40-plus years as a technology executive for a Silicon Valley-based healthcare technology company. John also had a 25-year career as a certified Olympic official for bobsled/skeleton and is the Chairman Emeritus of USA Bobsled/Skeleton, the national governing body for this sport in the United States.
He brings that deep experience and passion to Southern Nevada as past president of the Mesquite Senior Games Board of Directors, City of Mesquite Pickleball Coordinator, board member with Southern Nevada Pickleball, and as the Silver State Games' Pickleball Coordinator.

Athene is a 20-year Henderson resident with a 30-year career in hospitality industry. She began in the front office of a Marriott property in Santa Barbara and rose the ranks to the Director of Sales and Director of Revenue Strategy at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas where she worked for 18 years.
She may have retired from the corporate life
Athene is a 20-year Henderson resident with a 30-year career in hospitality industry. She began in the front office of a Marriott property in Santa Barbara and rose the ranks to the Director of Sales and Director of Revenue Strategy at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas where she worked for 18 years.
She may have retired from the corporate life but continues to compete in tennis tournaments. Athene qualified for the 2023 National Senior Games and is eyeing to qualify for the 2027 National Senior Games this year at the Silver State Games.

Prior to moving to Mesquite in 2014, Nancy lived in Park City, UT where she was heavily involved with the Olympic Sports of Bobsled and Skeleton. She was a volunteer official at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia.

As a 40-year accounting professional, Nancy served as treasurer for every volunteer organization she was involved in. After retirement she and her oldest daughter bought a year round Christmas Store and every November their home was turned into "Christmasland."
Nancy is active in community theater as a board member, backstage manager, props, and everything else that was needed. She is also a board advisor to Mesquite's Women's History and Culture Center.

Annette’s career has been highlighted by her positions as Risk Manager with UMC and General Counsel with Southern Nevada Health District, where she advised senior management and staff on regulatory and compliance issues, risk management, and corporate compliance matters.
She obtained her BS in Business Administration from Bowie State Univ

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she has held both professional and volunteer leadership roles, including serving for seven years as Program Manager for the Manhattan Beach Young Entrepreneurs Academy and spending nine years on the board of the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair, where she managed all paid and free games for one of the community’s largest annual events.

After decades of being a marketing communications desk jockey, Bonnie kicked off her 50th year by signing up for a sprint triathlon. She soon learned the value of having the right coach and community, training consistently, eating more healthfully, and staying optimistic despite setbacks and summer heat.
That September, Bonnie happily crossed the finish line in Vancouver, British Columbia and never looked back.
Bonnie is also the Games' coordinator for the 5K/10K Road Runs and Triathlon. coordinator.
