YES! All our events are open to adults ages 50 and better, and many of the sports welcome those ages 40-plus. Check the sport(s) page for details.
YES! We welcome adults ages 40 and better from around the U.S. and the world.
No. The National Senior Games is only open to adults ages 50 and better.
BUT by participating in the Silver State Games, you'll get a head start in your training and preparation for when you're eligible for the National Senior Games.
Plus you'll will see how you fare against others in your age group so come join us!
It depends. Go to the National Senior Games Association's How To Qualify page for an overview and then follow the links to the NSG Official Rulebook and the NSG Minimum Performance Standards.
Registration for our annual competitions opens on/about April 1 of each year.
Each sport has a differing sign-up deadline, usually 10 to 14 days ahead of the scheduled competition. See your sport's web page for details.
ABSOLUTELY! Just make sure the schedules of your desired sports or events don't conflict (example 2 sports on the same day with same start times).
The majority of our events take place in September and October. A few may be held outside that time frame due to venue availability and other factors.
We post our schedule as event details are finalized after January 1. Our complete schedule is usually set by mid-March. Check the home page of our website for the complete list of sports and their competition dates.
