• Both distances start 7:15 a.m.
• Choose the 5K or 10K race. All SSG runners finishing their race qualify for both distances at the 2027 National Senior Games!

The RAGE Triathlon sprint race is SSG's official triathlon and qualifier for the 2027 National Senior Games. It will run concurrently with the Road Races. All athletes must choose one (1) event -- 5K, 10K or sprint triathlon -- to participate in that day. All athletes must start and finish that event to be eligible for SSG awards and NSG qualification.

Step 1. SILVER STATE GAMES REGISTRATION

• $50 for Nevada residents 
• $55 for out-of-state residents
• No sport fee for either the 5K or 10K!
• You may enter only one event

Step 2. BBSC RUNS REGISTRATION

• The RAGE 5K and 10K races are the official SSG events and qualifier for the 2027 National Senior Games.
• When you complete your SSG registration, you will receive a 20% group discount code (courtesy of BBSC!) in your confirmation email.
• Use the 20% group discount code during your BBSC registration and save!

• Wednesday, April 22 at 11:59 p.m. is the SSG deadline to sign up for its triathlon
• Because RAGE Runs is a popular spring event in southern Nevada, it often sells out. Don't wait to register!
• SSG does not guarantee entry into RAGE Run.

• Registration for our Fall Games, held in September and October, opens each spring on or about April 1. 
• Save $5 by signing up during our "Early Bird" period: April 1 - July 31.
• Registration ends for each sport about 2 weeks before the event date. No late or day-of sign-ups allowed.
• Refunds must be requested in writing or by email. Refunds before August 31 will be assessed $25 administrative fee. No refunds after August 31.

•  2 volunteers to help our sport coordinator on race morning, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Check in runners and hand out SSG commemorative pins
• Track results and record times and medals earned
• Hand out medals

Triathlon was never a sport Bonnie considered participating in until a few months before her 50th birthday. When she barely finished a “beginner” triathlon, she discovered she wasn’t the athlete she thought she was! 

But after working hard with an experienced triathlon coach, Bonnie successfully -- and joyfully -- finished her first sprint race in Vancouver, British Columbia seven months later.  She went on to finish many more. 

When she discovered the senior games lifestyle, she quickly added race walk, power walk, cycling, and strength training to the mix. 

Bonnie has medaled in race walking, power walking, and cycling in the Silver State Games (a.k.a. Nevada Senior Games), Huntsman World Senior Games (Utah), Idaho Senior Games, and Washington State Senior Games. She did the 1500m race walk and 5K cycling time trial at the 2019 National Senior Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In her spare time, Bonnie also takes care of SSG's digital marketing and website.
