Open, non-qualifying event for ages 50+  at 2027 National Senior Games

40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+

(Age group determined by age as of December 31 this year)

• Styles: Ballroom, Belly, Cabaret, Clog, Club Style, Country, Folk, Hula, Jazz, Latin, Tap, etc. 

• Saturday, Sept. 19
• 11 a.m. early entry
• 12 noon rehearsal
• 2 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. competition

DANCER REGISTRATION

• $50 for Nevada residents (individual and couple participant)
• $55 for out-of-state residents
• Early bird registration by July 31 and subtract $5 for solo and couples. Team not eligible for Early Bird discount.

EVENT FEE(S)

• $10 per person event fee for solos and couples
• $50 team plus $25 per team member (12-member maximum)
• Team Captain must complete the registration form and remit fees.
• Team member who wishes to enter another sport (i.e. badminton, basketball skills) must complete a separate registration and remit fees

• Individuals, couples and teams: Maximum 2 routines with 3 minute durations. One (1) medal per person per event. 
• Presentations judged on Point System.
• Youngest member of a Team determines age group

• Bring a copy of music to the rehearsal.
• This program is not a Las Vegas-Clark County Library District event. The views expressed and other information presented are solely those of the producing entity.  

• Registration for sports events opens each spring on or about April 1. 
• Save $5 by signing up during our "Early Bird" period: April 1 - July 31.
• Registration ends for each sport about 2 weeks before the event date. No late or day-of sign-ups allowed.
• Refunds must be requested in writing or by email. Refunds before August 31 will be assessed $25 administrative fee. No refunds after August 31.

My name is Sheryl Robertson, and my life journey began at the age of three. From those first steps, a passion was ignited that would shape my destiny. By the time I was old enough for school, I was earning recognition, becoming the first national competition winner in Talent America, which was based out of New York City. I went on to win many regional and national competitions in both Tap and Acrobatics. My proudest moment in my childhood is when I received a perfect 10 in Tap from the producer of 42nd Street in New York City.

Fueled by my early success, I set my sights on something bigger which brought me to Las Vegas. It was here I trained with some of the world's best Acrobatics. It was here I found a new profound love of African, Caribbean and Latin Dancing. I studied under some of the biggest entertainers in Showbiz including Henry Le Tang and Napolean and Tabitha Dumo. It was a Backstage Dance where I found my love for Hip Hop.

I moved back to the East Coast in the Summer of 2006 and over the next 10 years, I built a reputation on the East Coast, partnering with accomplished dancers and choreographers from many parts of the World. My journey took me to countless regional and national dance competitions, where I left a mark not just as a performer, but as a creative force. My passion has always had me striving to move to the next level.

My story is one of passion, perseverance, and a love for the art of movement that began in childhood and continues to inspire every step I take.
